What does a lanai slab or patio cost in Nokomis?
About $8 to $13 per square foot for a broom slab and $11 to $17 for exposed aggregate or color, so a 12-by-24 lanai extension runs roughly $2,300 to $3,700 before the cage extension and a floor drain. In Sorrento East a settled 1970s lanai replaced with a drain runs $3,500 to $5,500 for the same size.

What's different about patios & lanais in Nokomis & Laurel
The most common Nokomis patio job is extending a builder lanai in Toscana Isles, Talon Preserve or Vicenza: the new slab is poured beside the existing one on its own base with a dowelled joint, pitched to a new floor drain, and the cage is extended by the cage contractor. West of I-75 the 1970s lanais in Sorrento East and Calusa Lakes have settled toward the sliders and are replaced. Exposed aggregate with light stone is popular for heat and for hiding well-water stains.

ARC approval three weeks. Cost band: $4,500 to $6,800 for the concrete and overlay.
Will the extension match the old lanai floor?
The slab won't, exactly; a thin decorative overlay across both is how the finish is matched, and the joint between them is planned as a straight line the eye reads as design.
